Japan is overloaded with advertisements almost everywhere : trucks with ads, humans with ads, planes with ads, toilets with ads etc. But what amazes me the most are the neons, the ads with light, and the bills in general that fill every commercial area in every Japanese city. There are places where there is so much light coming from the neons that it seems that night never comes.
Game Center CX is a Japanese TV show where a famous comedian (In Japan comedians are used for everything) called Shinya Arino plays video games until he manages to finish them. They usually select really difficult games, so it’s funny to see Shinya’s suffering face and interesting to see how well he plays.

Game Center CX is being broadcasted since 2003, it’s so popular that there is a Nintendo DS game about the tv show and there are DVD-Boxes for each season. Shinya Arino is famous among hardcore otaku players, similar to what happens with Takahashi Meijin. There are even figures representing Shinya Arino, there is a picture of one of his figures in the the wikipedia page.
