Strolling around with Pablo at the outskirts of Okayama we found this strange shop selling solar panels. It seems that before they used to sell parabolic antennas but, little by little, they have changed their business model and now they install solar panels. It grabbed my attention the interior of the shop, in this high resolution picture you can see solar panels, a windmill helix, a wifi router, a guitar, a giant light bulb, a photocopier… it reminded me to some of the shops in Akihabara.
Stopping by at the Sony building is something usual if you visit Ginza. Some years ago it was more fun because you could play with some Aibos that were on display. Anyway the visit is still interesting, the coolest thing you can find now are XEL-1 screens. In the first floor you can usually find exhibitions and in the last floor audiovisual events. These are some of the pictures I took in my last visit to the Sony building three weeks ago:
A huge leg was decorating the building facade.
“Sony Life” is a Sony company that offers insurance plans, retirement plans, saving plans, etc. I think they only operate in Japan. Inside the building there is an office where you can inform yourself about all the services offered.
This is a “plane simulator”. You enter inside the simulator and you hear a noise similar to the noise you hear when you are inside a plane, its purpose is to show how effective Sony noise-cancelling headphones are.
