Walking around Tokyo

I love strolling around Tokyo taking pictures. Here are some pictures I took during a two hours walk around Minato-ku. If you’ve never been in Tokyo you will be impressed by the variety of things/people/places that you can see in just two hours, also look at how clean are the streets! I use a
Finepix s9000 that has a 28-300mm objective, pretty good to take photos from far away without anyone noticing 😉

Japanese World Trade Center. The building is really ugly.

  1. Nice pictures. I’ll add that camera model to the list of ones to look at. Was that lady in the first picture aware that you took her picture?

  2. Great quality photos. Your website was featured on G4TV’s Attack Of The Show (USA) so I thought I’d take a look. Quite entertaining

Like you I love walking round places, lastweek Singapore and the week before Taipei………..its really the best way to see places.

Tokyo especially have treusures, hidden places which if you don’t walk around and “get lost” you would never find.

I usually give myself a week in each place thats a full seven day,but Tokyo has stolen my heart,II have decided to extend my stay for another week, thus breaking my rule but life’s short one should do what you enjoy.
Thsi afternoon I stumbled upon a ceremony in a shrine, where two little girls were dressed in ful kimono’s so sweet.
Thanks for the great pics……………juts one thing I found a little starnge in Tokyo is the “smokers” have the best seating wheras the non smokers seem to be discriminated gainst, especially in cofee houses.
