Artistic lunch boxes

“Bento” in Japanese means “lunchbox”. “Bento” can be prepared by oneself at home or you can buy it already prepared in “bento” shops or in convinience stores. A typical “bento” has a white rice, pickles and a “main dish”. The way you fit the food inside the “bento” is very important and some people take it so seriously that it can become an art, take a look:

Artistic rice fields

Carlos sent me this link with some really intersting rice field pictures. There is a little village in Aomori called Inakadate where every year they make represent an important piece of art using rice fields. This year, they made The great Kanagawa wave. Let’s see the rice fields evolution during the last months.

Norton antivirus cosplay

Just watched the last Norton antivirus advertising campaign in Japan. It’s crazy! they have created a super-heroe who represents the antivirus and many insignificant black monsters who represent the viruses. They are doing shows in some of the most important electronics shops in Tokyo. Found these videos at Japanprobe, so you can see what I’m talking about:
